Objectives
To provide equipment/ tools to SC/ST women and men to help them setting up their own
trades/vocations Tools worth Rs. 10,000 are provided; for example, juice Grinder, Juice
Mixer, Tool kit for Beauty Parlour and Barber shop, embroidery machines, instruments for
carpentry works, machines for toy making and shoes, tools for iron smiths, sewing
machines, dhobi press, instruments for manufacturing agarbatti and papers.

Eligibility |
1.The applicants should belong to SC/ST groups.
2. The applicant's annual income should not be more than Rs. 24,000.
3. She /he should be a resident of Delhi.
4. The machine /instruments proposed to be purchased /installed should not cost more than
Rs. 10,000. It is exclusive of cost of work place. After the receipt of the subsidy
amount, the applicant should start work within 6 months.
The applicant should not discontinue the
work in next two years.
Only 75 per cent of the cost of a machine / instrument will be subsidy. The remaining 25
per cent of the cost is borne by the beneficiary.
