Improving your posture is the first easy step towards creating a beautiful bust
line, as good posture lifts the ribcage naturally upwards and outwards and makes the
breasts sit a little prouder on the chest. Correct posture is also essential to stop heavy
breasts from exerting a strain on the upper back and shoulder.
Our
breasts are subject to fluctuations in volume and weight dictated by hormonal changes in
the body. Breasts enlarge considerably during pregnancy, when they are being prepared to
produce milk, and expand still further when the milk arrives. It is advisable to keep the
skin on the breasts as supple as possible to avoid the appearance of stretch marks.
Common
Problems
Stretch
marks - a problem of lost elasticity in the skin, usually due to a surge of adrenal
hormones. Stretch marks commonly appear in adolescence and during pregnancy, when the bust
expands significantly.
What
to do
Eat
a balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole-grains and include a
variety of the following proteins: fish, poultry, lean meat, egg, nuts and pulses. Eat
your daily quota of favourable fats.
Get
your bra size checked from time to time, particularly after a substantial increase in
weight.
If
the downy hairs around the nipple start to become wiry and strong (which can happen if you
pluck them), it is advisable to have them removed professionally by electrolysis.
