Secunderabad thrashed Universal by 200 runs in a B
division knock-out cricket match on Tuesday. The star performer was Ajay Patel, who
propelled Secunderabad to 353 for 4 with a sparkling knock of 157 that included one dozen
fours and six sixes.
In reply, Universal was dismissed for 153,
the main scorers being Musharf (30) and Madan (35 not out).Srikanth fashioned Vimco’s
22-run victory over Social A with a seven-wicket spell in an A-2 one-day match.

St Anthony’s beats Vasavi in final
Host St Anthony’s High School beat Vasavi Public School by 28 runs to lift the St
Anthony’s Alumni Cup at the Sarojini Cricket and Fitness Academy ground on Tuesday.
St Anthony’s, which batted first,
scored 145 before being all out in the last over (25th) of the innings. Benher (45) and
Neeraj (40) were the principal scorers. Bharath claimed three wickets for 25 runs and
Mahesh took two for 31.
However, Vasavi School was shot out for 117
in 23.2 overs. Lohith sustained the scoring with a gritty knock of 45, while Abhilash and
Samrat broke the resistance of Vasavi, claiming three wickets apiece.
