The counseling for provisional selection for admission into Post-Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma Courses for the academic year 2007-08 will be held from 04-04-2007 at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada as per the schedule given below. The counseling will be held from 9.00 AM to 6.00 P.M. on each day. The candidates remaining, if any, will be called for counseling on the next day.

The selection of candidates for P.G. Medical Courses shall be as per the orders of Government in G.O.Ms.No.74, HM & FW (E2) Department, dt.21-3-2006 and as per the regulations for admission to PG Medical courses for the academic year 2007-08.

The seats available and roster points University area wise will be displayed in the University website and on the notice board of the University one day before the commencement of counseling.

NOTE : Physically handicapped candidates of all areas are informed to report at University Campus at 8.00 A.M. on 04-04-2007 before the Medical Board constituted by the University for confirmation of status of disability as per the guidelines of Medical Council of India and only those candidates confirmed by the Medical Board will be eligible for the seats reserved under PH quota.

All the candidates who have qualified at the Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test 2007 held on 09-03-2007 are advised to attend the counseling as per the schedule detailed above. They should bring all original certificates and a demand draft for Rs.7,600/- (Rupees Seven thousand six hundred only) for a seat in Government Medical College and Rs.10,600/- (Rupees Ten thousand six hundred only) for a seat in Private Medical College. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of the Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, payable at Vijayawada. The in-service candidates eligible under service quota and fulfilling the eligibility criteria of remaining service as per G.O.Ms.No.122, HM & FW(E2) Department, dt.13-4-2006 shall attend the counseling with latest service certificate, in original, issued by the concerned Directorate.

All the candidates shall verify and confirm their Social Status, Local Area and Service before commencement of the counseling process and if there is any discrepancy they shall bring the same to the notice of the University with documentary proof for correction on or before 29-03-2007 as no changes can be made after commencement of counseling process.

The candidates shall come prepared to stay for one or more days, if required.
The candidates selected will have to report and join the course on or before 13-04-2007 in the respective colleges and submit bond.

Mere attending the counseling does not confer right for a seat as more number of candidates are called than the number of available seats.
