NOTIFICATION In terms of G.O.M.S.No.
119 Education (E.C.2), dated 28.04.1996 issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the
Proceedings by APSCHE/CETS, MCACET-2000/2001 Dated 17-01-2000) for the academic year
2000-2001 for admission into first year of the three year MCA Degree Course in the
following Universities and their affiliated Colleges offering MCA Programme.

Tirupathi. 9. Regional Engineering College, Warangal.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. ELIGIBILITY FOR APPEARANCE AT THE COMMON ENTRANCE
TEST (MCACET-2000)
Candidates seeking admission into MCA course should satisfy
local/non-local status required as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational
Institutions (Regulations for admissions) Order 1974 and the amendments made therein.
Fifteen seats in the MCA course in Regional Engineering
College (REC), Warangal will be available to eligible candidates outside the state of A.P.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates seeking appearance at the Common Entrance Test
should have obtained a Degree (of at least 3 year duration) in any faculty awarded by a
recognized University in the State of A.P. or equivalent should have studied
mathematics as one of the subjects at Tenth class/SSC. Candidates who studied our
education system etc., and those who studied outside the state of A.P. should produce
sufficient evidence that they have passed Tenth class/SSC with mathematics as a subject.
Candidates who appeared for the final year/semester
examination of such degree courses (Specified above) at the time of submitting the
application for MCACET-2000 are also eligible.
2. ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION INTO MCA COURSE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2000-2001.
Candidates seeking admission into MCA course should appear for the MCA Common Entrance
Test (MCACET-2000) and qualify in the securing qualifying marks or more, as prescribed in
rule 14 below. Such candidates will be awarded ranks based on the marks obtained by
them in MCACET - 2000.
Separate application for admission into MCA course is to be submitted in response to the
admission notification of the authority concerned.
Mere appearance at the MCACET-2000 and qualifying in this
Test will not entitle a candidate any right for admission into MCA course, unless he/she
satisfies all other rules and and regulations prescribed for admission by the
authorityconcerned and is selected for admission under those rules.
3. ENTRANCE TEST SCHEDULE:

The Convener reserves the right to add or delete any centre from the list of above centres
and allot candidates to other centres accordingly.
6. Candidates must enclose attested photo copies of the
following to the application. a) S.S.C.
b) Community Certificate in support of their claim as SC/ST/BC
c) Other reservations, if any, approved by the Govt. of A.P.
d) Candidates who studied under distance education system etc., and those who outside the
state of A.P. must produce evidence that they have studied mathematics at Tenth
class/S.S.C.
7.The entries made in the application should tally with the
corresponding entries in the summary sheet. In case of any discrepancy, the entries
made in the Summary sheet will be taken as correct.
8.The Convener MCACET - 2000 reserves the right to reject the
application of a candidates at any stage if:
a) the application is incomplete.
b) the application is not signed and attested.
c) the candidate fails to satisfy the eligibility conditions.
d) any false or incorrect information is furnished.
e) the entries in the application form are illegible.
f) the application is received after the Due date i.e. after |
