After achieving tremendous success as an Entrepreneur, Mr. D N Gauri focused
his attention towards the under privileged sections of the society,
especially girl children thereby laying foundations to his philanthropist
and humanitarian activities. His contribution to the humanity can be summed
up:
Established a unique Ashram through Diyali Bai Lal Chand Dharmarth
Trust in 2002 in the name of his Parents in Bahadurpally Village, 15 kms from Secunderabad, to provide food, shelter,
clothing and education to the parentless girl children. The Ashram is run by
members of Mr.Gauri's family with their own funds. This is the only
trust in India to have ISO 9001 Certification.
Adopted a number of downtrodden children from the different schools and pays
their tuition fees, uniforms, etc., and has donated Sports Equipment to the
Schools.
Undertaken many social and charitable activities like Free Medical Camps,
Hepatitis-B camps, Eye operations and organized free eye operations
including distribution of Medicines & Spectacles to the poor people mostly
in rural areas with his Trust Funds as an active Rotarian.
Gifted his own land at Bahadurpally village to Twenty-two poor families for
constructing houses in association with Rotary International.
OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Traveled extensively to European countries for business associations and in
less than a decade, his first industrial concerns ‘Techni Aids’ (1982)
emerged into a Group of Companies (2002).
Under his dynamic leadership, EPE Process Filters & Accumulators Pvt. Ltd."

established an In-house R & D Unit recognized by the Government of India.
Under the unique humanist gesture "Shelter for the Shelterless project" he
registered his own land to the Twenty two homeless people especially widows
and farm labour in Bahadurpally Village, R R District. The estimated cost of
this project including land is Rs.38.30 lakhs and is a joint venture with
Rotary Club.
When asked about his attitude towards humanity, Mr. D N Gauri said that it
is his sacred duty to perform such activities and gain utmost satisfaction.
Mr. Gauri also informed that his Ashram adopted Twenty-two children at
present and aims at "providing facilities and conducive environment to the
inmates for their physical and mental growth and guide them to become
responsible citizens with high moral values".
Mr. Gauri's philanthropic activities reached its highest manifestation, when
he said that he & his wife are registered parents in official records of
schools for all the kids. Bottom line is, all these kids are not charming
boys who enjoy superior status in the society, but the girls with inner
beauty.
We at khoj congratulate this hard taskmaster, a meticulous planner in
business and a great humanitarian to achieve many more awards for his
service towards humanity.
This prominent Hyderabadi reminds us of Robert Owen, the father of
evolutionary socialism who was a British Capitalist of the 18th century and
voluntarily distributed profits among his factory workers.
