CARPETS
 Andhra Pradesh is also known for its carpets and Dhurries. The handmade
carpets and Dhurries are woven in magnificent shades with traditional art designs, which
make them markedly distinctive. The original vegetable dyes used make them real exotic.
The articles made comprise of floor coverings, rugs and wall hangings.
Warangal town and its neighbouring villages are famous for the cotton Dhurries while the
carpets of Warangal are world renowned. Of course, after the Persian Carpets and the
Kashmiri carpets!
