Other Shrines include :

The Patala Vighneswara temple – in the outer prakaram which has the idol in the underground with a narrow entrance at the ground level.

Gnyana Prasoonamba, consort of the Lord can also be seen enshrined in the adjacent shrine in the same compound.

The Manikanteswara temple – of the period of Raja Raja Chola I that has the shrines of both Shiva and Vishnu.

Kannappa temple – a single cell temple with his icon signifying the legend of the great devotee Thinna or Kannappa. An old linga is seen under a tree in front of the temple where he is known to have offered his prayers. This hill has a dark entrance.

Durgamba Hill – a shrine of Durgamba atop an 800m high hillock to the north of Srikalahastiswara temple.

Kumara Swamy temple – the small hillock, with beautiful shrine of Lord Kumaraswamy installed on a high pedestal. This gives a panoramic view of the pilgrim town.

Others include –
the huge flower garden, rooms for making garlands, place for vasanthotsavam during Holi in the names of Chokkeswara and Meenakshi that couples devotion with pleasure.
