Other Shrines include :
The Patala Vighneswara temple in the outer
prakaram which has the idol in the underground with a narrow entrance at the ground level.
Gnyana Prasoonamba, consort of the Lord can also be seen enshrined in the adjacent
shrine in the same compound.
The Manikanteswara temple of the period of Raja Raja Chola I that has the
shrines of both Shiva and Vishnu.
Kannappa temple a single cell temple with
his icon signifying the legend of the great devotee Thinna or Kannappa. An old linga is
seen under a tree in front of the temple where he is known to have offered his prayers.
This hill has a dark entrance.
Durgamba Hill a shrine of Durgamba atop an
800m high hillock to the north of Srikalahastiswara temple.
Kumara Swamy temple the small hillock, with
beautiful shrine of Lord Kumaraswamy installed on a high pedestal. This gives a panoramic
view of the pilgrim town.
Others include the huge flower garden, rooms for making garlands, place for
vasanthotsavam during Holi in the names of Chokkeswara and Meenakshi that couples devotion
with pleasure.
