She is the same face which bagged the Ms. Andhra title in October 1999, this 18 year old has moved ahead into the world of fashion, handling the tough and the beautiful with measured charm, determination and a good deal of hard work.

Her face, accent and demeanor are perfect blend of her Iranian and Hyderabadi background. Standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, Mona has worked on some well-known ad campaigns including that of The Wearhouse, Weekender and Pepe Jeans. More recently, she has appeared in the Adidas ads in Femina and other magazines.

If Hyderabad witnessed the launch of her career, the rest of India and perhaps the world is where she plans to turn her dreams into reality. To begin with, she hopes to make it to the Ms. India and then even the Ms. Universe.

Beyond modelling, Mona plans to get into singing abroad. A good singer, she had won the Ms. Talent contest where she sang the heart tugger Celine Dion number 'My heart will go on' .She also writes poetry.
