This Marathi-stage actress did not have much luck in Bollywood. She has done quite a many
films till date but has not got the right kind of roles an actress of her calibre should
be getting. She was the never the most happening actress and which ever films she has done
so far is not commendable.
Ashwini Bhave's one of the initial films was Randhir Kapoor's 'Henna' opposite newcomer
Zeba and Rishi Kapoor. It was a dream come true for this young actress because right from
her childhood she was a great fan of Rishi Kapoor and working with him naturally brought
her pleasure. She did many more films with her favourite star which include 'Honeymoon'
and 'Mohabbat Ki Arzoo'. But none of the films boosted her career.
Akshay Kumar is another actor with whom she has done most number of movies. But movies
like 'Ashaant', 'Sainik', 'Zakhmi Dil' could not help her sagging career. Her co-stars are
Jackie Shroff, Vinod Khanna and Mithun Chakraborty. Her list of films include 'Meera Ka
Mohan', 'Parampara', 'Kayda Kanoon', 'Chauraha', 'Ekka Raja Rani', 'Vapasi Saajan Ki' and
'Yugpurush'.
But two films for which she was most appreciated for were 'Bhairavi' (1996) with Shridhar
and 'Bandhan' (1998) with Jackie Shroff. |
