Akka Baava
Ekkada Rajavannem Reddy, the director was
introduced with his film Kshemanga Velli Labhamga Randi. And now, with his film Akka
Baava Ekkada, he has proved the fact that he is perfect in making torturous movies.
One needs guts to see this movie, as the movie is a total torture. The movie is worse than
a TV serial in terms of its story and screenplay.Kovai Sarla is the mother of our hero J.D. Chakravarthy and she aspires to marry off him to a crorepati's daughter. Giri Babu is an affluent fellow, who has two daughters: Raasi and Asha Saini. Asha Saini is a chirpy girl, who dreams to marry a He-man sort of a guy. Once, she sees JD fighting and falls in love with him. Incidentally Raasi too meets J.D and they fall in love with each other. But Giri Babu says 'no' to their marriage as he does not like J.D. and feels that he is goonda and is good for nothing.But Kovai Sarla, who does not want to loose the opportunity of getting her son married to a crorepati, plays a game. She says that she has another son (another JD), who is a pukka rowdy. On the other hand, Asha makes it clear to Giri Babu that she will marry JD only, as she can't live without him. Giri Babu then decides that he will marry off his two daughters only when the two JDs come. To know what happens next, you have to tax your nerves and watch the movie. There is nothing worth in the movie to talk about. Even the music is disappointing. The director seems to have put all his efforts to make the movie a torturous fare. For instance, the song Mehabooba… Mehabooba This song, it looks like, is put so that the director too gets a chance to appear on the silver screen |
