Bas Itna Sa
Khwaab Hai, a preview Phir
se aaya chota B
and this time with a lot of dreams in his pocket. The title of the
latest movie Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai is perhaps apt to highlight the vaulting ambitions of
the hero of the film, both that of the one on the screen and off the screen. After the initial bang at the box office of Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya, Abhishek Bachchan has high hopes from this one. Goldie Behl, who is the childhood friend of Abhishek, makes his debut as a director. The film is cast with Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukherji, Sushmita Sen and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The storyline of Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai seems to have been inspired a lot by Aziz Mirzas Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. Abhishek plays the character of an ambitious man from Varanasi who aspires to make it big some day. The hero decides to try his luck in Mumbai and in the process of trying to manage a foothold in the city of his dreams, comes across Rani Mukherji and falls in love with her. As usual, falling in love proves lucky for him because his career starts taking off. Jackie Shroff, a successful media personality, takes him under his wing and Abhishek begins to idolise Jackie. His right-hand woman Sushmita Sen, is a good associate for him in all his shady deals and a temptress. Slowly, Abhishek gets used to the luxuries of life a bungalow, flashy cars, money etc., but he realises that that the man he has admired and wanted to emulate Jackie Shroff is not the good man he thought him to be. He in fact turns out to be a manipulative, calculating, power hungry editor of a paper. Will Abhishek continue to move in the lines of Jackie and Sushmita? Has he gone too far away to come back to his good old world? Hmm watch the movie for this Click here to Listen to Songs of this Movie
